Brigham Learning’s One-Year Anniversary

After tutoring for many years, I started Brigham Learning based on the idea that I felt the need to insert the individual student into the tutoring picture.

Working on writing skills was one thing, but none of that led to success unless I understood who the student was. What made them tick? What was their learning style? Did they find it easier to do homework right after school or later in the evening? How did they handle stress, and how did that affect their academic performance?

I am not unique in this approach, but I am adept at sorting these attributes. And I have found tutors who not only feel the same way about my approach but are equally gifted in supporting students in this way.

On Brigham Learning’s one-year anniversary, I am so proud of what we have created. I am even more proud of the students who work so hard not just to do well but to understand themselves. I am proud of the parents who strive to understand the unique characteristics of their children and support them, and I am deeply proud of the tutors who have come with me on this ride. Their commitment, professionalism, and deep caring for each and every student is incredible to watch.

Congratulations and thank you to my Brigham Learning family!
